Steelers host Florida Atlantic running back Kerrith Whyte Jr. on pre-draft visit Thursday

As the Pittsburgh Steelers get closer to using up their full allocation of 30 pre-draft visits, the number of guests arriving at team facilities each day is starting to dwindle. Thursday saw just one draft prospect welcomed to Pittsburgh to meet with the coaching staff, with all the attention focused on Florida Atlantic running back Kerrith Whyte Jr.

Projected to be a late round draft pick or possibly a priority free agent signing, the FAU product also has experience as a kick returner, returning 81 kicks for 2,115 yards and two touchdowns in three seasons, for an average of 26.
