The Steelers are bringing in former Arizona State offensive coordinator and veteran coach Glenn Thomas to its offensive staff as an assistant coach, it was announced Wednesday morning.
Most notably, Thomas spent seven seasons in the NFL, including four as an offensive assistant for Atlanta from 2008-'11 and three as the quarterbacks coach for Atlanta from 2012-'14. Under Thomas' tutelage, Matt Ryan was selected to two of his four career Pro Bowl appearances (2012, 2014), and he led the NFL with a 68.6% completion rate in 2012. In Thomas' three seasons as the Falcons' quarterbacks coach, Ryan completed 67.
