Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has a rule about his starters practicing on Fridays. If they don’t, it’s usually a pretty good sign that they won’t play Sunday.
Left guard Ramon Foster, who is dealing with an elbow injury, did only individual drills Friday, while second-year guard B.J. Finney took most of the snaps at guard in team drills.
Foster, an eight-year veteran, believes he’s going to get the benefit of the doubt from his coach Sunday.
“It’s just an elbow,” Foster said after practice Friday. “I had a little tweak in there, that’s about it. Just icing it down and getting a little rehab.
