Outside linebacker Anthony Chickillo is still a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers as of Tuesday morning following him being arrested Sunday and charged with assault after a dispute with his girlfriend at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania. However, Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert did release a statement Tuesday addressing Chickillo’s situation.
“In regard to the recent incident involving Anthony Chickillo, we will continue to gather information, and we will fully cooperate with the NFL’s investigation. Any discipline involving the player will be determined after the gathering of further information from law enforcement and the League Office.
