As the smoke cleared from the aftermath of the Buffalo Bills game, the Steelers fears of losing another kicker to a freak injury during the preseason came to fruition. First Shaun Suisham was lost for the season and now his replacement, Garrett Hartley, has been hit by the injury bug as well.
According to Jeff Prosser of 1010XL in Jacksonville, Scobee is already en route to the Steelers.
The Steelers lost Suisham to a torn ACL in the preseason opener, and replacement Hartley suffered a hamstring injury Saturday that looked like it was going to keep him out of the regular season opener.
