The Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t expect Troy Fautanu to be available at No. 20 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, but were lucky to be able to stay put and get one of the best tackles in the class without having to move up.
There were questions on whether Fautanu would move to guard at the NFL level, but the Steelers expressed right away that they drafted him to be a tackle. Now, we are getting more clarity as to which side of the line Fautanu will play on.
According to Fautanu himself, he expects to start training camp as the right tackle on the offensive line.
