Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward returned to the team on Tuesday, joining his teammates for the final week of OTAs.
Heyward is seeking a contract extension, and told Steelers Now that he hopes to play three more seasons in the NFL. He spoke to the media today after practice, and confirmed that he wants to remain in Pittsburgh for the duration of his career.
“I’m looking to be here,” Heyward said. “I want to be valued at my position... I think when I’m at the top of my game, I’m still a top five player at my position.
