In the Pittsburgh Steelers Week 11 win over the Cleveland Browns, quarterback Cody Kessler was knocked out of the game in the second half after being hit by linebacker Lawrence Timmons. While Timmons was flagged on the play for unnecessary roughness, the league ultimately decided not to fine him, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Steelers defensive tackle Daniel McCullers, however, wasn’t as lucky as it’s being reported on Friday that the Tennessee product was fined $18,231 by the league for hitting Browns quarterback Josh McCown in the head with 1:23 left in the fourth quarter.
