Steelers defense, special teams give Chiefs’ Hill no room to run

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It started, effectively, the instant Tyreek Hill touched the ball.

Oh, he had a 7-yard run on the second play from scrimmage when the Chiefs became the first team this season to score a touchdown on the opening possession against the Steelers.

But where the Steelers felt they set a tone for what they needed to do against Hill, maybe the most dangerous all-purpose threat in the NFL, was on the kickoff after the second of Chris Boswell’s six field goals.

Hill, who had three scoring returns in the regular season, no sooner got started on his first kick return when he was hit by linebacker Vince Williams after a meager 12-yard return.
