Steelers DE Cameron Heyward In No Rush To Get New Contract Done

At some point between now and the start of the 2015 season, Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Cameron Heyward will likely receive a contract extension that should result in him being included in the top-5 highest paid 3-4 defensive ends in the league. Even though it’s going to happen, Heyward claimed Wednesday morning during his talk with the media that his contract situation is not currently on his mind.

“I’m not one of those guys that thinks about my contract while I’m here,” Hewyard said, according to Chris Bradford of the Beaver County Times.
