The Steelers need to make opposing quarterbacks squirm more often. They managed a 25-year-low 33 sacks in 2014. The team once known as Blitzburgh approached zilchburg when it came to pressuring the quarterback.
That just won’t do, they said. They want more — need more — sacks, more pressure to make everything work on defense, especially to help a secondary that has been in decline and had meager interception totals, as well.
So who can produce those additional sacks? Jarvis Jones? Bud Dupree? James Harrison? Arthur Moats? Sure.
And why not Cam Heyward, the leader in their clubhouse in more ways than one.
