PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Keith Butler said the New England Patriots' "outside the box" football is on the edge of the rules, according to a quote in the Providence Journal.
The newspaper cited a Steelers.com video interview of Butler addressing whether the Patriots offense is doing something special. The video is no longer available on the Steelers' site.
"I don't think they're doing anything special,” Butler reportedly said in the interview. “I think they do things outside the box sometimes, you know, that might be on the edge of being legal or not legal.
