Steelers cut two draft picks to sign Todman and Lyons

The Steelers cut two of their draft picks today in order to sign players who were cut from other teams.

The Steelers waived fourth-round cornerback Doran Grant and sixth-round linebacker Anthony Chickillo and signed running back Jordan Todman and defensive end Cashaud Lyons.

The Steelers released three of their eight draft picks. Seventh-round safety Gerod Holliman was waived Saturday.

Todman played previously for Minnesota, San Diego and Jacksonville. He spent training camp with Carolina and had a 49-yard touchdown run against the Steelers Thursday night in the preseason finale at Heinz Field.

Lyons played at Tusculum University and was cut by Tampa Bay.
