After going through his first full practice on Wednesday, T.J. Watt questions still remain regarding his status as the Steelers continued to prepare for their regular season opener Sunday in Buffalo.
To make matters worse, bookend Alex Highsmith, who is expected to start opposite Watt this season to replace departed Bud Dupree, was limited for the second consecutive day because of a groin injury, leaving the Steelers thin at outside linebacker.
If both Watt and Highsmith aren't available to play against the Bills, the Steelers would have veteran Melvin Ingram, signed before the start of training camp, and first-year player Jarron Jones as the only outside linebackers on their 53-man roster.
