Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey had his surgically repaired thumb wrapped and splinted when he was in the locker room before practice today. He hasn’t snapped a football since being injured in the 21-14 loss to the Ravens, but he said this afternoon he is going to play Sunday afternoon when the Cowboys pay a visit to Heinz Field.
“I’m playing. One-hundred percent,” Pouncey said.
Pouncey won’t practice today, but he does plan to practice Friday. His right hand is his snapping hand, but he said there won’t be any issues when quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is under center or in the shotgun.
