Steelers CB Darius Rush being evaluated for concussion

The Pittsburgh Steelers leave Atlanta 1-0 after an 18-10 win over the Falcons off the strength of six Chris Boswell field goals and three takeaways on defense.

Pittsburgh did have multiple guys pick up injuries in the win, most notably punter Cam Johnston. Head coach Mike Tomlin classified the injury as “serious” when talking to the media in his post-game press conference.

In addition to Johnston, Tomlin says cornerback Darius Rush is being evaluated for a concussion.

“I don’t know whether he is or isn’t [concussed], but after the game he was being evaluated in that way,” Tomlin said.
