The Pittsburgh Steelers have been in center hell ever since Maurkice Pouncey retired following the 2020 season.
They drafted Kendrick Green out of Illinois in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, which turned out to be a dreadful swing and miss that ended with him being tried out at fullback before getting traded to the Houston Texans. Mason Cole has been the Steelers’ starter for the last two seasons and he allowed 52 pressures on the quarterback over that span.
All of that is to say Steelers fans have been through the ringer at the position, and that Zach Frazier is more than ready to step in and be the starter.
