In a draft filled with top tier cornerback, the Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to add depth to their growing field of defensive backs. This week, they brought in a 6’4, 220 lb corner from Valdosta State, Stephen Denmark, for a pre-draft workout.
Denmark’s noticeable size makes him an interesting prospect for any secondary. Despite being scouted for his size, Denmark did run a 4.46 40-yard dash during his Pro Day. In his final college season he recorded three interceptions, finishing with seven throughout his career.
Currently, Denmark is projected as a late-round of undrafted free agent but that doesn’t mean Pittsburgh doesn’t want to see his talent.
