The Pittsburgh Steelers have butchered the development of offensive tackle Broderick Jones.
The former first-round pick played well in his role at right tackle in 2023. However, Pittsburgh drafted Jones to be their left tackle. Yet instead of benching Dan Moore in favor of Jones last season, they benched Chuks Okorafor and played Jones out of the position they wanted him to play long-term.
Ever since, they have played the back-and-forth game with Jones, constantly flipping him from the right to left side and not letting him gain any consistency. Now it appears that the Steelers are benching Jones.
