Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown’s shoe tribute this week will honor two Miami athletes who recently died: Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez and Miami mixed martial artist Kimbo Slice.

Brown, a native of Miami, said he was fined for wearing Muhammad Ali tribute shoes in last week’s game against the Jets. After ignoring an NFL employee’s request that he remove the shoes before the game coach Mike Tomlin ordered Brown to remove the shoes in the first half.
