Even though the Pittsburgh Steelers won’t begin their annual training camp in Latrobe for seven more weeks, the Wednesday morning releases of their practice schedule makes it feel like the start of the 2016 season is now right around the corner.
This year the Steelers training camp will be highlighted by two open practices against the Detroit Lions at Saint Vincent College and a total of 14 open practices. The team’s annual Friday night practice at Latrobe Memorial Stadium will take place on August 5.
The Steelers first padded practice this year will take place on July 31
As usual, our very own Alex Kozora should be in attendance for every one of the Steelers training camp practices that are open to the public and he’ll be posting daily recaps every evening just as he’s done the past two years.
