While essentially nothing changes in the ranks of the four teams of the AFC North, the Steelers laid an egg in their trip to Kansas City. Quarterback Landry Jones, the hero of week six, helped the team with three turnovers in a disappointing loss to an inferior team.
He shouldn’t shoulder the same blame as the coaches however as they had plenty of opportunity to stay in the game. The team came out passing in the second half despite Le’Veon Bell averaging better than five yards a carry. Just because Jones made some exciting pass plays the week before against Arizona, they should have still handled it as a novice passer making his first regular season NFL start in a hostile environment.
