The Pittsburgh Steelers announced several roster moves on Tuesday, including the addition of yet another tight end. The two additions include TE Matt Sokol and DB Kyler McMichael. Meanwhile, WR Marquez Callaway and DB Josiah Scott were released in corresponding moves.
The release of a wide receiver, considering the current lack of depth at the position for Pittsburgh, seems like a bit of a surprise.
Currently on the 90-man roster at wide receiver are George Pickens, Calvin Austin III, Jacob Copeland, Dez Fitzpatrick, Van Jefferson, Jaray Jenkins, Scotty Miller, Quez Watkins, Deuce Watts and rookie Roman Wilson.
