The Pittsburgh Steelers put on a clinic defensively in 2019. T.J. Watt turned out to be one of the most dominant defenders in the league and Minkah Fitzpatrick was a remarkable player in the back end. Keith Butler’s defense finished top five in yards allowed and points allowed this season, and three defensive starters made first-team All-Pro for their efforts this year.
Still, with all of these achievements on the defensive side of the ball, there has been much discussion about the future of edge defender, Bud Dupree.
As a result, the edge rusher position may be an area of need for the Steelers in 2020.
