The Pittsburgh Steelers have been signing plenty of players from the XFL in recent days, and they continued this trend on Friday when they signed a familiar face to a contract. That would be none other than long snapper/linebacker Christian Kuntz, who played for the Dallas Renegades in the XFL this year.
Kuntz spent the 2019 preseason with the Steelers before losing the long snapping job to Kameron Canaday. Canaday, who was a restricted free agent this offseason, was signed to a new two-ear contract once the new league year began.
Kuntz does provide something which Canaday does not, and that is position flexibility.
