The Steelers got some good news ahead of their Week 14 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Per a team announcement, Pittsburgh has activated cornerback Cory Trice Jr. from injured reserve.
Trice will take the 53-man roster spot opened up by Pittsburgh’s release of running back Jonathan Ward yesterday.
Trice was drafted by the Steelers in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He missed his rookie season with a torn ACL. In 2024, he worked his way up the Steelers depth chart to be a top backup in the secondary.
