Senquez Golson Says MRI Needed For “Soft Tissue” Injury

The Pittsburgh Steelers are back on the field to begin the second week of OTAs. Senquez Golson is out there with the group but is reportedly sitting out of practice today. Last week, Dale Lolley reported Golson was scheduled to undergo an MRI. Golson confirmed that to Adam Crowley today but noted it had nothing to do with last year’s shoulder injury that shelved him for his rookie season.

Senquez Golson was back today, but didn't participate in drills. Confirms he had MRI. Not shoulder related. "Soft tissue."

No word on the exact nature of the “soft tissue” injury Golson suffered.
