Cornerback Senquez Golson has it all over Martavis Bryant, and not just because he’ll be covering him at times in training camp.
Bryant missed the entire 2016 season? Peanuts. Golson missed the entire 2015 and 2016 seasons. In fact, it was a rare site at the Steelers’ spring practices the past two days — seeing Golson in their uniform No. 27 in the secondary.
“This,’’ Golson said, “is my third ‘first’ year.”
His first two ‘first’ years were ruined by injuries after the Steelers drafted him in the second round from Mississippi with high hopes he could help them quickly as a cornerback playing in the slot.
