San Francisco 49ers' fans weren't the only people donning red on the North Shore this morning, as more than 50 people lined up outside Heinz Field for the second time to protest the Steelers signing Mike Vick.
Leading up to the 1 p.m. kickoff, members of the peaceful rally wore crimson shirts that read, "I Support Pits Over Points," and lined the sidewalk near the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial outside Heinz Field, where a memorial for fallen K-9 officers was added in July.
Their shirts are red, like blood, and clash with the sea of black and gold, said Tara Vybiral of Moon, organizer of the peaceful rally.
