The Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 of the 2019 season and on Monday it was announced that they’re opponent in that game will be without an important part of their defense due to a suspension.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network on Monday, Seahawks defensive lineman Jarran Reed is being suspended six games for a violation of the personal conduct policy for an incident from early 2017. Reed’s appeal was denied Friday morning, according to Rapoport. Reed’s suspension comes as a result of an adult female who claimed he had assaulted her in late April of 2017.
