The Pittsburgh Steelers made a trade Monday morning that included them acquiring kicker Josh Scobee from the Jacksonville Jaguars. While the details of the compensation are not yet fully known, one would think that it cost the Steelers a 2016 late-round draft pick.
Scobee is set to earn $3.425 million in 2015 so that will mean that the Steelers will have $6.89 million in base salaries this season tied to the kicking position, assuming Garrett Hartley joins Shaun Suisham on injured reserve in the coming days.
