The Pittsburgh Steelers likely will not explore a reunion with QB Russell Wilson, and while his relationship with Arthur Smith may not have been the same after the two had tension at the end of the year, it sounds as if his relationship with head coach Mike Tomlin took a hit. According to FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz, Wilson doesn’t have the same relationship with Tomlin that he did when he joined the Steelers.
“Russell Wilson is still in play for the Giants, even though they signed Jameis [Winston]. But as it’s been made clear to me, he does not have the same type of relationship he had with Mike Tomlin going back a year ago,” Schultz said on The Herd.
