Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelisssero, Slay has officially be released by the Philadelphia Eagles, facilitating the transaction with Pittsburgh.
A deal between Slay and the Steelers was reported earlier this week but disputed by several outlets who noted an agreement wasn’t firmly put into place.
