The ongoing saga over which quarterback the Pittsburgh Steelers will re-sign, Justin Fields or Russell Wilson, could finally be coming to its conclusion. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, he believes the Steelers are “determined” to have an answer by week’s end, ahead of the legal tampering and start of free agency.
“It’s tough to go into free agency to go add to your offense when you have no idea who’s playing quarterback,” Schefter said while appearing on the Pat McAfee Show Tuesday. “And that’s why I think they’re gonna spend this week working on getting a deal done with either Justin Fields or Russell Wilson.
