Good Thursday to you Steelers’ fans!
The Jacksonville Jaguars fired their Vice-President of Football Operations Tom Coughlin yesterday. This came following a report from the NFL Players’ Association that listed a significant number of grievances against the Jags. In fact, over 25% of all NFLPA grievances were filed against Jacksonville. Coughlin once led the New York Giants to two Super Bowl victories over the Patriots but he has also been known to be the last of a dying breed. Coughlin was a task master and stern disciplinarian who would not tolerate even the slightest of players misdeeds. The problem that Coughlin ran into was that he never learned how to adjust to today’s players.
