Apparently I am missing something when it comes to the Steelers’ Right Tackle position. It appears that there is some consternation about just who takes over the job from the now departed Marcus Gilbert. You’ll notice I said “now departed…” Actually, Gilbert hasn’t been around his right tackle position for quite some time. Since 2016, Gilbert has played in 25 of a possible 48 games for the Black and Gold. Since 2017, he’s played in just 12 of 32 games. So when analysts and fellow bloggers wonder who “replaces” Marcus Gilbert, perhaps the question should “Who solidifies the position?
