Good day to you Steelers’ Fans.
The changes continue around the Steelers’ facility. With both Joey Porter and James Saxon no longer in Pittsburgh, Mike Munchak has now also departed. The Hall of Fame player and most excellent offensive line coach has chosen to head to Denver where the Broncos were willing to pay him quite handsomely. I wrote about his exodus last evening and you can bet I’m not crazy about it. Munchak isn’t just a good coach, he’s also a positive and powerful influence on the team. Guys like Munch aren’t easily replaced.
The baton is now passed to Shaun Sarrett who has been in Pittsburgh for eight years.
