There was once a time when the last football game played of the season was actually the Pro Bowl. That nightmare of a game has since moved to the week prior to the Super Bowl so that’s it folks. Football for the 2018 season is over and that means we are now officially in for the long haul meaning we won’t see meaningful football about eight months give or take. It’s always a somewhat depressing time of year but in this particular case I find it a bit of a relief. The Antonio Brown stuff isn’t going away and there will be much more coming between the Combine, free agency, OTAs, the Draft and so on but right now I’m glad for the reprieve.
