TGIF Steelers Fans! Let’s get to it!
There were two significant roster moves made by the Steelers on Thursday. Long-time long snapper Greg Warren and injury-plagued tight end Ladarius Green were both released following failed physicals. While we do not know the specifics for each, we are told that Warren’s knees were problematic and in the case of Green, there were still concussion issues. Warren leaves after an outstanding career that dates back to the Bill Cowher days.
For Green, it will be a case of ‘what if.’ He played in just six games last year yet collected $6 million dollars from the Steelers as their prized free agent acquisition.
