It’s nothing new to say that NFL players do whatever it takes to be in the best physical condition possible in preparation for the upcoming season. We’ve already heard about James Washington’s transformation which included dropping about ten pounds in an effort to transform his body into something better than it was. We don’t often apply this to quarterbacks but in recent years they’ve often been the ones leading this effort. Tom Brady’s nutrition and conditioning became so epic he published a book on it. As it often does however, Ben Roethlisberger’s offseason work continues to fly under the radar.
