Holmes spent the first four seasons of his career with the Steelers after being drafted in the first round out of Ohio State. His winning touchdown catch in Super Bowl XLIII helped earn him MVP honors.

After the Steelers, Holmes spent 2010-13 with the New York Jets and played in 2014 with the Chicago Bears.
