Ryan Shazier won’t play football in 2018, but he’s still hoping to return to the NFL some day.
In his first comments since Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert ruled him out for the coming season, the injured linebacker told the NFL Network’s Rich Eisen that a comeback remains his “end goal” and that he sees his rehab process as part of his quest to eventually make the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
“Constantly I’m getting better… I feel like I’m going to come back and play football.”
