Russell Wilson Limited In Thursday’s Practice Due To Calf Tightness

After dealing with a calf injury early in training camp after suffering the injury during the conditioning test on the even of training camp, veteran quarterback Russell Wilson appeared to be in the clear in recent weeks.

But on Thursday, the starting QB for the Pittsburgh Steelers was limited with calf tightness, according to Steelers’ head coach Mike Tomlin. Long-time reporter Mark Kaboly, who is now a correspondent for the Pat McAfee Show, tweeted the news moments ago.

Tomlin said Russell Wilson was limited because of calf tightness. Well evaluate tomorrow

According to Tomlin, there is no long-term concern for Wilson and the calf injury, as tweeted out by ESPN’s Brooke Pryor.
