Mason Rudolph didn't get suspended for his actions in the Steelers' loss Nov. 14 at Cleveland, but he did basically play the game against the Browns for free.
Rudolph was fined $50,000 for his actions in the brawl that occurred in the closing seconds of the game, won by the Browns, 21-7, that included the Steelers quarterback being hit over the head with his own helmet, which had been ripped from his head moments before by defensive end Myles Garrett.
As part of his $658,000 salary this season, Rudolph earns approximately $38,000 per week, meaning it cost him money to participate in the game.
