CINCINNATI — They will be talking about this football game in Pittsburgh for years. Ben Roethlisberger left after three quarters Saturday night with a shoulder injury only to come back to play with virtually one arm and lead the Steelers to a surreal 18-16 win in their AFC wild-card hair-pull against the Cincinnati Bengals.
They also will be talking about the game for years in Cincinnati. The Bengals haven’t won a playoff game since 1990, the longest current streak in the NFL. They have only themselves to blame.
Running back Jeremy Hill lost a fumble with 1:36 left after taking a hit from linebacker Ryan Shazier as the Bengals were trying to run out the clock with a 16-15 lead.
