Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is preparing for a “trial and error” practice this morning in what is expected to be his first full workout with teammates since spraining the MCL in his left knee and suffering a bone bruise Sept. 27 at St. Louis.
Roethlisberger, despite several other knee injuries, has never worn a knee brace, but he’ll try out as many as six this week as he attempts to persuade the coaching staff he can play on Sunday at Kansas City.
The Steelers begin practice today at 1:15 p.m.
“We have six different knee braces to try,” Roethlisberger said.
