Several weeks ago, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger spoke very admirably about his now former backup, Landry Jones, during a media interview. In short, Roethlisberger said that Jones had become a teammate that he trusted when it came to him being his eyes before, during and after games. Now that Jones has been released, Roethlisberger was reminded about those previous comments he had made about trusting Jones during his Tuesday interview on 93.7 The Fan and asked if he was surprised by the team’s decision to release to release the veteran backup quarterback.
