Roethlisberger Says He’s Blessed To Play ‘In The Greatest City’ For Steelers’ Nation

It didn’t end pretty. It rarely does. But Ben Roethlisberger played his final NFL game Sunday night. And after the game, he took a moment to reflect on his career, not just tonight.

Though the time to talk about it post-game was far too short, Roethlisberger briefly summed up his last 18 years as a Steeler.

“I’m proud to play with these guys,” he told reporters post-game. “God has blessed me with an ability to throw football and has blessed me to play in the greatest city in Pittsburgh with the greatest fans and the greatest football team.
