The Steelers are bringing a couple of old friends to the NFL draft with them this weekend.
Former players Rod Woodson and Max Starks will announce the team’s picks during the second day of the draft Friday in Arlington, Texas, the team said on its website Wednesday. Woodson will handle the second-round selection while Starks will follow by naming the third-round choice.
“It’s definitely an honor,” Woodson told Steelers.com. “I spent 10 wonderful years in Pittsburgh. I still know so many people who work for the organization. It was my first NFL team, the team that gave me my shot to get into the league and develop my skills and my maturity in life.
