Reporter believes Steelers could still acquire one of 49ers star receivers

The Pittsburgh Steelers are still very much in the market for another starting perimeter wide receiver,

The Steelers would likely be starting Van Jefferson opposite of George Pickens while Roman Wilson will play in the slot.

While it’s likely the Steelers will acquire another starting-caliber receiver, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette says he believes the Steelers will acquire either Brandon Aiyuk or Deebo Samuel from the San Francisco 49ers.

“They will have a number two receiver on their roster come September, who is not on their roster now,” Fittipaldo said “I think it will be either Aiyuk or Samuel.
